Today, artistic creativity plays a fundamental role in digital innovation, in advanced industry and, in general, in the sustainability of productive practices. The event brought together scientists, industry, artists, companies, legislators, technologists, environmentalists and cultural organizations with the aim of creating an embryo of a possible agenda for Portugal, in direct relationship with European and National Initiatives, for the establishment of a healthy interaction between industry and the arts based on scientific knowledge, thus contributing to the common good.
“EUROPE (RE)S+T+ARTS: Artistic Creativity and Digital Innovation in Industrial Production – for a national agenda in Portugal” took place on October 15th 2021 at the Egas Moniz House Museum, in Avanca, Estarreja. The event hosted three sessions, each focused in the areas of Industry, Technology and Environment in their relationship with the Arts, with representatives from national and international, public and private entities and organizations related to Science, Technology and the Arts. Additionally, there was a private work session regarding topics such as Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and the Digital Innovation Hubs in Portugal.
